The CD4511BPWR is a CMOS BCD-to-7-segment latch decoder/driver IC from Texas Instruments designed to directly drive common-cathode 7-segment LED displays. It converts a 4-bit BCD (Binary-Coded Decimal) input into the appropriate 7-segment output signals for displaying decimal digits 0–9. The device integrates latch, decode, and display driver functions in a single package, making it suitable for digital clocks, counters, panel meters, calculators, and embedded display systems.
