Done — I generalized the terminal groups to broad categories: Power, Ground, Control, Analog, and I2C.
I verified all 33 terminals still have exactly one functional group, and updated the BQ25730RSNR Pin Functional Groups project file to match.
Add a Section property to all pins, and apply the same value used in the Pin Group property to each pin's Section property.

I’ll copy each terminal’s current Pin Group value into its Section property, then verify all 33 terminals were updated consistently.

Done — I added the Section property to all 33 terminals and set each one to match its current Pin Group value.
Verified examples:
  • Power pins: Pin Group = Power, Section = Power
  • Ground pins: Pin Group = Ground, Section = Ground
  • Control pins: Pin Group = Control, Section = Control
  • Analog pins: Pin Group = Analog, Section = Analog
  • I2C pins: Pin Group = I2C, Section = I2C

BQ25730RSNR Pin Functional Groups
Datasheet source used: TI BQ25730, Table 6-1 Pin Functions and Figure 6-1 RSN Package 32-pin WQFN.
Each physical pin is assigned to exactly one broad functional group. The exposed pad is included as pin 33 in the Flux terminal set.
Broad groups used
  • Power: input power, internal regulator output, power-stage switching/bootstrap nodes, and current-sense power pins.
  • Ground: power ground and exposed thermal pad.
  • Control: gate-drive outputs, mode/configuration pins, current-limit control, and open-drain status/control outputs.
  • Analog: monitor outputs, compensation pins, and comparator pins.
  • I2C: digital host communication pins.
