Using Flux to design electronic circuits and layout PCBs involves the following steps:
  1. Creating a New Project: Sign in to your Flux account and click on "New Project". This will open a blank workspace where you can start designing your schematic.
  2. Adding Components: You can drag and drop components from the library onto the drawing canvas. For custom components, you can use the component editor to create new ones.
  3. Connecting Components: To connect two components, you can use the wire tool. Click on a component pin and drag the wire to another pin on a different component.
  4. Creating PCB Layout: Once the schematic is finished, you can switch to the PCB layout mode. Flux will automatically place your components, but you can manually drag and move them.
  5. Routing: In the PCB layout, you will need to create "tracks" that connect the pins of the components, similar to how you made connections in the schematic. Automated routing is also available in Flux.
  6. Final Checks and Export: After you're done with the layout, you should run the Design Rule Check (DRC) to identify any potential issues. If everything looks good, you can export the design in Gerber or any other supported format for manufacturing.
