Schematic Design Issue Analysis

Below is a suggested wiring update to add the isolated LED indicator circuit for channel 1 to your schematic:
Schematic Update Summary:
  1. Add Components:
    • Transistor: Add a 2N3904 and label it as, for example, Q_IND1.
    • Base Resistor: Add a resistor (value 10 kΩ) and label it as R_B1.
    • LED Series Resistor: Add a resistor (value 330 Ω) and label it as R_LED1.
    • LED Indicator: Add your chosen LED (for example, a red LED) and label it as LED_IND1.
  2. Wire the LED Indicator Circuit as Follows:
    • PWM Signal to Transistor Base:
      • Connect the PWM signal for channel 1 (the net driving the motor in channel 1) to one end of R_B1 (10 kΩ).
      • Connect the other end of R_B1 to the base of [2N3904] (Q_IND1).
    • Transistor Emitter Connection:
    • Indicator LED Connection:
      • Connect the collector of Q_IND1 to the cathode of LED_IND1.
      • Connect the anode of LED_IND1 to one end of R_LED1 (330 Ω).
      • Wire the other end of R_LED1 to your 3.3V Supply (e.g. the c051e14d-6a3f-44b2-af4b-d5d3cad95046 portal).
Circuit Operation:
When the channel 1 PWM signal goes high, R_B1 limits the base current into Q_IND1 causing it to conduct. This pulls the collector down, allowing current to flow from the 3.3V rail through R_LED1 and LED_IND1 to ground. The LED lights up to indicate the PWM is active—all without affecting the motor’s power circuit.
You can use the "Apply changes" option to add these components and connections for channel 1. Would you like to proceed with these schematic changes?
