Finding MAX3232IPWR Part

Work done
  • No tasks have been completed; execution was stopped manually.
Tasks remaining
  1. Search the Flux library for at least two low-cost buck regulator ICs (12 V→3.3 V, ≥1 A) and add them unconnected as candidates.
  2. Evaluate the added candidates, remove all but the chosen regulator, and rename it to U3.
  3. Add support components per the chosen regulator’s datasheet:
    • Generic inductor with the recommended inductance and current rating.
    • Generic input decoupling capacitor with the recommended capacitance and voltage rating.
    • Generic output decoupling capacitor with the recommended capacitance and voltage rating.
  4. Review the schematic for completeness and add any missing nets or components.
Success criteria
  • The buck regulator IC is placed in the schematic.
  • It meets 12 V→3.3 V at 1 A requirements.
  • Support component placeholders are documented.
Criteria not yet met.
Next step Start by searching the Flux parts library for two low-cost buck regulators that meet 12 V input, 3.3 V output, and ≥1 A output current, and add them to the schematic as unconnected candidates.
