Bluetooth Headphone Amp Design

I can’t execute project changes right now because the session has no remaining execution credits. No schematic/layout work has been performed yet; the project is still empty with 0 components and 0 nets.
What remains to design for your Bluetooth hi-fi adapter/headphone amp:
  • Define the exact use case:
    • Does the 1/4" jack connect to Beyerdynamic headphones as an output?
    • Or is it a 1/4" audio input from another device?
  • Choose Bluetooth audio architecture:
    • Bluetooth receiver module or SoC
    • Codec support: SBC/AAC/aptX/LDAC depending on quality target
  • Design audio path:
    • Bluetooth audio receiver / DAC
    • Low-noise headphone amplifier
    • 1/4" TRS headphone output
    • Volume control
    • Optional line input / bypass mode
  • Design power:
    • USB-C or battery-powered
    • Low-noise analog rails
    • Charging circuit if battery-powered
  • Add protection and usability:
    • ESD protection on USB/audio connectors
    • Power switch
    • Status LEDs
    • Pairing button
  • Verify:
    • Datasheet-recommended circuits
    • Power budget
    • Headphone drive capability for the specific Beyerdynamic model impedance
    • ERC review
    • Bring-up/test documentation
Key clarification needed before schematic work: which Beyerdynamic headphones are you targeting, especially the impedance — for example 32 Ω, 80 Ω, 250 Ω, or 600 Ω. That determines the headphone amp output voltage/current requirements.
