DC Fan Control

control DCfan 12-24v
I can help design a 12–24 V DC fan controller, but I can’t modify the project right now because there are no available ACUs for AI actions.
Current project state:
  • New empty project
  • No components or nets added yet
  • No schematic or PCB work has been done in this session
What remains to be done:
  • Choose control type: simple on/off, PWM speed control, temperature-based control, or MCU-controlled
  • Select fan current rating, e.g. 0.2 A, 1 A, 3 A+
  • Add power input protection, MOSFET driver stage, flyback/TVS protection, and connectors
  • Verify the circuit for 12–24 V operation
Recommended default design:
  • 12–24 V DC input
  • Logic-level N-channel MOSFET low-side switch
  • PWM input for speed control
  • TVS diode across supply
  • Flyback diode or suppression suitable for the fan
  • Screw terminals for power and fan connections
Once ACUs are available, I can build the schematic for this fan controller directly in the project.
