Project Planning and Requirements

Your request is to connect the components in your schematic according to the design intent. Below is a summary of the net connections you can implement:

Net Connections Overview:
  • Battery & TP4056:
    • Connect the positive terminal of the Li-ion Battery (BAT1) to the battery positive input (BAT+) on the TP4056 (PMIC1).
    • Connect the negative terminal of the battery to the common Ground.
  • Power Supply to ESP32:
    • Connect the output from the TP4056 (its VOUT pin) to the power input (VCC) of the ESP32-WROOM-32 (U1). (Note that although the TP4056 typically outputs around 5V, your design may assume that any additional regulation to 3.3V for the ESP32 is managed or that the module is tolerant; adjust as necessary.)
    • Place the 100nF Capacitor (C1) between the VCC net (power rail feeding the ESP32) and Ground to serve as a decoupling capacitor, and similarly add the second 100nF Capacitor (C2) as additional filtering near the ESP32.
  • Sensor (Magnetic Reed Switch):
    • Connect one terminal of the Magnetic Reed Switch (S1) to a selected GPIO input on the ESP32. (Many designers select a pin with internal pull-up enabled, such as one of the general-purpose digital inputs.)
    • Connect the other terminal of the reed switch directly to Ground. This way, when the cover is removed (magnet separated), the GPIO will detect the change.
  • Common Ground:
    • Ensure that all components (Battery, TP4056, ESP32, and Magnetic Reed Switch) share a common ground via the Ground component.

Connection DescriptionNet/Node
[Li-ion Battery] positive terminal to TP4056 BAT+ inputBattery Positive (BAT+)
[Li-ion Battery] negative terminal to GroundGround (GND)
TP4056 VOUT output to [ESP32-WROOM-32] power inputVCC
[100nF Capacitors] (C1 & C2) between ESP32 VCC and Ground (placed near U1)VCC and Ground
One terminal of [Magnetic Reed Switch] to a selected ESP32 GPIO signalSensor Signal (GPIO)
Other terminal of [Magnetic Reed Switch] to GroundGround (GND)

These connections establish the power management, sensor interfacing, and ensure a common ground throughout your design. Let me know if you need any further net connections or additional modifications!
