Pi MIDI Cyberdeck

That reference board looks like a portable cyberdeck / field-terminal aesthetic: rugged case, small display, compact keyboard, lots of tactile controls, and visible maker-style hardware.
For this new project, I can help turn that into an electronics design. A good starting architecture would be:
  • Controller: Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W or ESP32-S3 depending on whether you want Linux or microcontroller behavior
  • Display: 4–7" HDMI/SPI touchscreen or small TFT
