Exporting Files to Altium

All export options are accessible through the Flux menu in the top-left corner of your workspace under the Export submenu."
For manufacturing files (Gerbers): "Open the Flux menu in the top-left corner of the screen. From there, choose the 'Export' option and select 'Manufacturing Files' to export an archive containing Gerber files."

  • Project permissions: If you don’t have edit access (view-only or shared without export rights), export options can be disabled. Try opening a project you own or request edit access.
  • Unsupported context: Export is only available from a project (not from a part or module editor). Make sure you have a project open, not a standalone part.
  • Missing PCB: Some export options require a PCB layout to exist. Create/sync a PCB from the schematic first.
  • Modal/state block: If a dialog is open or you’re mid-edit/rename, menus can disable. Press Esc to clear, then try again.
  • Connectivity issues: Brief network hiccups can disable cloud actions. Refresh the page and sign in again.
