Remaining tasks
  1. Footprint & Rule Configuration
    • Verify footprints of Q1–Q4, U3, U7, U8, T1, L1, C11, etc., match the 4-layer stackup.
    • Apply high-voltage clearances (5 mm) and creepage (8 mm) to HV nets, and logic clearances (1 mm) and creepage (2 mm) to low-voltage nets.
    • Define isolation keepouts and assign dedicated layers for the LM331/TL431 control nets and ADUM1201 interface.
  2. Component Placement
    • Cluster Q1–Q4 with L1/C11.
    • Place T1, C9, C10 near the HV bus.
    • Enforce isolation gap for U5 (ADUM1201), U4, U7, U8.
    • Position decoupling/snubber caps (100 nF, 1 µF, 10 µF) close to their devices.
  3. Routing Strategy
    • Route HF loops (Q1–Q4, L1, C11) with wide, short traces.
    • Keep L1–C11 loop intact on uninterrupted copper.
    • Route LM331/TL431 nets on quieter layers with dedicated returns.
    • Create an isolated path for the ADUM1201 interrupter signal.
  4. Design Review & DRC
    • Run Flux DRC to confirm clearances, creepage, spacing.
    • Verify test points and labeling.
  5. Manufacturability Review
    • Validate spacing for CNC tolerances.
    • Document special instructions for HV isolation and test points.
Success criteria review
  • None of the targets (minimized HF loops, HV barrier, resonant-tank integrity, LF-path isolation, DRC pass) have been met yet.
