Temperature and Humidity Sensor Node Design

I’m blocked because the session has no remaining execution credits, so I can’t modify the Flux project or add schematic components right now.
Current project state:
  • Project is still empty: 0 components, 0 nets.
  • No schematic, layout, or documentation changes were made in this session.
Recommended design plan when credits are available:
  • Rename/project-spec the design as a USB-C powered Wi-Fi/BLE environmental sensor node.
  • Use an ultra-low-power Wi-Fi + BLE 5.x MCU/module, likely an ESP32-C6 or similar 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 + BLE 5 device.
  • Add a digital temperature/humidity sensor over I2C, such as SHT40/SHT41/SHT45-class or equivalent.
  • USB-C 5 V input with:
    • CC pull-downs for default USB-C sink behavior.
    • ESD protection on USB-C pins.
    • Reverse-current / reverse-polarity protection.
    • Over-voltage protection.
    • Under-voltage lockout.
    • Over-current protection sized for 0.5–3 A source capability.
  • Add regulated rails, likely 3.3 V for MCU and sensor, with full input/output capacitors per regulator datasheet.
  • Add all MCU boot/enable strapping, programming/debug access, antenna keepout, and decoupling.
  • Run power-budget analysis before selecting USB-C protection, fuse/current-limit, and regulator parts.
  • Complete schematic review, then create a bring-up/validation plan before moving to PCB layout.
Once credits are available, the next step is to build the full datasheet-grounded schematic and run review checks before layout.
