I recovered the ZIP schematic, added the missing passives/J9, wired the ESP32 socket/audio/WLED nets, fixed the SN74HCT125 VCC-to-+5V issue, and ERC is now clean for the checked items. Details are in Schematic Confirmation — ESP32 Socket Audio/WLED Board.
Open items:
  • I’m pausing before PCB layout because the recovered KiCad schematic has suspicious LM358 power wiring: U2 pin 8 is tied to GND and U2 pin 4 to AUDIO_REF.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Confirm whether to keep the LM358 wiring exactly as recovered.
  2. Or approve the likely correction: U2 pin 8 → +5V and U2 pin 4 → GND.
  3. After that, I’ll place and route the PCB.
pin8 goes to +5v and pin 4 goes to ground and theres a 100nf feedback capacitor between those
Got it — I’ll correct the LM358 supply wiring to pin 8 = +5V and pin 4 = GND, and add/use a 100nF capacitor across those rails at U2 for decoupling, then re-run ERC.
I applied your correction: LM358 U2 pin 8 was moved to +5V, pin 4 to GND, and C3 100nF was reassigned as the capacitor between those rails.
I’m blocked now because the account has no available ACUs, so I can’t run the follow-up ERC/connection verification or continue into PCB layout.
Open items:
  • Re-run schematic/ERC checks to confirm the LM358 power-net edit is clean.
  • Verify C3 is correctly across +5V and GND and did not disturb the AUDIO_REF network.
  • Then proceed with board placement and routing.
Once ACUs are available, the next step is to verify the schematic, fix any net issues if found, then make the PCB.
Check then place
