Automotive 80 V, 2 A Synchronous Buck Converter IC – Automotive-grade synchronous step-down (buck) DC-DC converter optimized for automotive power supplies, industrial automation, battery-powered systems, distributed power, and embedded applications. Operates from a 4.2 V to 80 V input voltage and provides an adjustable output voltage from 1 V to 75 V with up to 2 A continuous output current. Features an integrated high-side and low-side MOSFET, 200 kHz to 2.2 MHz programmable switching frequency, 40 µA typical quiescent current, 98% maximum duty cycle, forced PWM/light-load efficiency modes, spread-spectrum EMI reduction, frequency synchronization, power-good output, fixed soft-start, and pre-biased startup. Includes comprehensive protection with cycle-by-cycle current limiting, hiccup-mode short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, and undervoltage lockout (UVLO). Qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 1, it operates over a −40°C to +125°C ambient (−40°C to +150°C junction) temperature range and is housed in an 8-pin SO PowerPAD (HSOIC) package.
