Ultra-Low-Power Omnipolar Hall-Effect Switch – Digital omnipolar Hall-effect switch optimized for lid/door detection, proximity sensing, magnetic position detection, industrial controls, consumer electronics, and battery-powered embedded systems. Operates from a 1.65 V to 5.5 V supply with an ultra-low 3 µA maximum supply current, making it ideal for low-power applications. Features a push-pull digital output, omnipolar operation (responds to either north or south magnetic poles), sleep mode, and high magnetic sensitivity with ±3 mT typical operate point and ±0.8 mT typical release point. Supports up to 5 mA output current, provides built-in hysteresis for noise immunity, and operates over a −40°C to +125°C temperature range. Housed in a compact 3-pin SOT-23 (DBZ) surface-mount package.
