LED Part Audit

I’ll audit the part metadata, locate the manufacturer datasheet if needed, update the Datasheet property, then verify symbol pins and footprint geometry against the source.
I’m inspecting the current symbol, properties, and two-pad footprint first, then I’ll compare them to the manufacturer’s mechanical and electrical tables.
Audit completed against the official Kingbright AA3528ZGS datasheet. A Datasheet URL was already present, so it was not changed.
Verified
  • MPN/manufacturer: AA3528ZGS / Kingbright
  • Package: 3.5 × 2.8 mm SMD LED, 2 pins
  • Green InGaN, water-clear lens
  • 525 nm dominant wavelength, 600 mcd typical at 20 mA, 120° viewing angle
  • Forward voltage: 3.3 V typical, 4.1 V maximum at 20 mA
  • Maximum continuous current: 30 mA; reverse voltage: 5 V
  • Footprint exactly matches the recommended pattern: two 1.5 × 2.2 mm pads with a 1.6 mm gap
  • Pad 1 is correctly marked as the cathode; pad 2 is the anode
Mismatches / missing metadata
  • Symbol is a generic rectangle rather than an LED diode symbol.
  • Pins are unnamed and have unspecified electrical types; they should be 1 = Cathode (K) and 2 = Anode (A) with descriptions.
  • Project-level Part Type is missing, triggering the component-review warning.
  • Package/case information is not recorded as a searchable property, although the footprint itself is correct.
