Library Tab Search Issues

If searching generic returns nothing, that’s not expected. Generic parts should be available.
Try this quick sequence:
  1. Hard refresh the browser
    • Mac: Cmd + Shift + R
    • Windows/Linux: Ctrl + Shift + R
  2. Clear Library filters
    • Remove category, package, manufacturer, availability, or “project only” filters if any are active.
  3. Search specific generic names instead of generic Try:
    • Generic Resistor
    • Generic Capacitor
    • Generic LED
    • Generic Inductor
    • Generic Diode
  4. Check whether the Library is set to a narrow source If there’s a source/filter dropdown, make sure it’s not limited to only project components or a private library.
  5. Try an incognito/private window This helps rule out browser extensions or cached state.
If those still show zero results, it’s likely a Library indexing/loading issue on the platform side, not your project. Use the Flux support instructions here and mention that even Generic Resistor returns no Library results:
