Below is a summary of the schematic changes to add the Seeeduino XIAO ESP32-S3, the ST7789 1.3" TFT, and three push buttons with optional pull-up resistors.
Add the following components:
  1. Microcontroller (U1)
  2. Display (U2)
  3. Push Buttons
  4. Pull-up Resistors (if not using internal pull-ups):
  5. Ground Reference
Make the following connections:
  1. Power and Ground
  2. SPI Interface
    • U2 SCL → SCK pin on U1
    • U2 SDA → MOSI pin on U1
  3. Display Control
    • U2 RES → GPIO8 (example) on U1
    • U2 DC → GPIO10 (example) on U1
    • U2 BLK → 3.3V (or attach to a PWM pin on U1 if brightness control is desired)
  4. Push Buttons
    • S1 → GPIO0 on U1
    • S2 → GPIO1 on U1
    • S3 → GPIO2 on U1
    • The other pin of each switch → Ground
    • If external pull-ups are needed, connect R1, R2, and R3 from each GPIO pin to 3.3V.
