Work done
  • Updated project description to “Raspberry Pi Gateway Board Featuring Ethernet, ESP32, and Wi-Fi HaLow Support”
  • Defined system architecture in project property with mermaid diagram
  • Added 3.3 V LDO regulator U4
  • Added decoupling capacitors C1, C2, C3 and pull-up resistor on LDO EN
  • Added Raspberry Pi 40-pin header J1 and RJ45 MagJack with onboard magnetics J2
  • Created 5 V net connecting Pi pin 2 to U4:VIN and J2 power pins
Tasks not done
  • Integration of key modules:
    • W5500 Ethernet controller footprint
    • Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32 socket footprint
    • Wi-Fi HaLow (FGH100M-H) module footprint
    • Ground portal symbol
  • Net connections for 3.3 V distribution, MOSI/MISO/SCK, CS/INT/RESET signals
  • PCB outline definition for 80 mm×60 mm
Unable to do
  • RF keep-out zone around HaLow module (5 mm clearance)
  • Position RJ45 MagJack at board edge and allocate module areas
  • Configure layer stackup, power planes, and ground fill
Success criteria review
  • Key components added and interconnected: ❌ not yet (W5500, ESP32, HaLow missing)
  • Power supply distribution: ❌ partial (5 V net done, 3.3 V net not routed)
  • SPI bus and control signals: ❌ not implemented
  • RF keep-outs and layout constraints: ❌ not defined
Next step Add the W5500 Ethernet controller, ESP32 XIAO, and Wi-Fi HaLow module footprints (with ground portal), then route the 3.3 V and SPI/control nets to these modules.
