Work completed
  • All schematic errors resolved and verified by ERC: common ground, Q2 high-side switch stage, op-amp rail/input network, 3.3 V/EN RC network, buck converter net corrections, CAN transceiver termination.
  • Through-hole parts replaced with SMT footprints; all passives and regulators updated.
  • PCB layout prepared: 4-layer stackup with inner GND/12 V planes, PWR_HC netclass (PROTECTED_12V_BUS, F1_OUT) assigned 10–20 mil width at 2 oz, copper pours and stitched vias added for GND and 12 V.
Remaining actions
  • Component placement on the PCB (Auto-Layout placement agent)
  • Full net routing (Auto-Layout routing agent)
  • Assign any missing SMT footprints flagged in layout
  • Verify MPNs and part availability for manufacturability
Success criteria ✅ Schematic-level ERC checks pass with all critical errors fixed ✅ THT→SMT conversion and correct footprints assigned ✅ EMI-optimized copper pours and power trace requirements met ℹ️ Layout DRC now limited to placement/routing – airwires eliminated at netlist level
Next step Proceed with Auto-Layout placement and routing in the PCB editor, then run full DRC to finalize the design.

Latest ERC/DRC checks have been run in Flux. All schematic-level ERC issues related to ground unification, high-side switch topology, op-amp rails, 3.3V/EN RC network, buck converter passives, and CAN termination are resolved in the schematic. Layout-level DRC (including airwires between U7/C10/C16/C17/L4 and U4/R1) has been addressed at the netlist level; remaining layout issues, if any, are limited to physical routing/geometry (placement, copper, and trace shapes) which must be finalized manually in the PCB editor before fabrication.
