The preview found 26 traces and 4 vias available; copper tied to D1 and four changed nets will be safely excluded rather than forcing mismatched routing. I’m checking that placement difference before importing the compatible remainder.
Imported the compatible copper from the USB-C reference block: 26 trace segments, 4 vias, 1 keepout, and 7 rulesets. Verified the copper exists in the layout with no reported overlap, floating-copper, dangling-trace, or invalid-layer issues.

D1 and nets Net 86, Net 103, VUSB, and VBUS were safely excluded because they differ from the reference.
Seven airwires remain, primarily on VBUS and the ORing path.
Decision: Import the complete standalone reference as one functional block.
Fit: USB-C 2.0 receptacle, 5.1 kΩ CC sink resistors, USB data ESD protection, VBUS/VBAT inputs, and Schottky/P-channel MOSFET power-path ORing to PP5V0.
Placement: Preserve the reference schematic and PCB component arrangement; defer copper reconciliation until final placement.
Import status: Complete. Imported as functional group USB-C Battery ORing.
Verification: 18 schematic objects, 16 nets, and 10 PCB footprints imported. ERC has only expected warnings for unused SBU pins and the two protected USB data outputs awaiting downstream connection.
