ESP32 mechanical verification
  • Socket row center spacing: 22.86 mm, unchanged.
  • Both 1×19 rows are parallel and aligned at the same Y coordinate.
  • The USB end remains oriented toward the carrier-board edge according to the existing U6/J6/J7 pin mapping and the user’s approximately 1 mm overhang constraint.
  • U6 is intentionally excluded from the carrier PCB/BOM, so its body is not available to the PCB body-overlap engine. The module envelope was therefore checked manually against the sockets and nearby parts. The only actual nearby overlap found was TP4 versus R6, and it was corrected.
  • No fresh component-outside-board or edge-placement DRC findings were reported.

Remaining blocker
The auto-route preflight validator still reports a generic board-definition failure despite a clean fresh DRC and fully connected routing. It supplies no affected net/component/node, so no further safe project mutation can be derived from the message. This inconsistency was submitted as an internal tool issue. Manufacturing readiness is not claimed while this preflight anomaly remains unresolved.
