Importing BQ25606 Copper Design

I’ll compare the source and destination layout rules to determine whether the reference had scoped rulesets, whether they were omitted during reconciliation, or whether only baked/default rules were present.
The copper import explicitly reported 0 scoped rulesets imported. I’m checking whether that is because the source uses project-level/default rules rather than block-scoped rules.
The copper importer copied the physical copper but no custom rulesets. The destination currently has zero user-defined PCB rulesets.
The source rules were excluded because they are project/global or footprint-text overrides—not block-scoped copper rules:
  • Global 10 mil keepout rule
  • Global Remove VALUEs rule
  • Footprint reference-text position/rotation overrides
  • Source 25 × 24 mm, 2-layer board setup
The importer only transfers scoped rulesets directly associated with imported copper, so it reported 0 rulesets imported. The trace widths and geometry remain baked into the imported traces, but future edits use the destination’s default rules. The board setup and applicable global rules need to be copied separately.
