Creating a New Project
- Click on the new project button on the dashboard.
- Provide a name for the project and any additional details.
Designing Your Schematic
- Once your project is ready, click on 'Schematic' in the menu to start designing the electronic circuit.
- Add components: Select the components from the library and drag them onto the canvas.
- Connect components: Use the 'Wire' tool to connect the pins of the components in accordance with your design.
Laying Out Your PCB
- After validating your schematic, click on 'Board' in the menu to start designing your PCB layout.
- Place components: All the components you placed on your schematic will appear in the board view. Drag and drop the components to their desired location on the PCB.
- Connect components: Use the 'Route' tool to physically connect the components according to the schematic, creating traces.
Verifying Your Design
- You now have to validate your PCB design to ensure there are no design rule violations.
- This includes verifying the track width, clearances, and other parameters according to your manufacturer's specifications.
Exporting Your Design
- Once your design is validated, you can export your PCB design as Gerber files by clicking on the 'Export' button.
- You can send these exported Gerber files to your manufacturer for fabrication.
