The "NP" pin seems to be electrically isolated from the LED, so basically just a mounting pad.
This whole thing was designed to be made entirely at JLCPCB, using only parts from LCSC. No soldering iron required.

I am aiming for an approx current of 300mA.
These LEDs have a wide variation in voltage drop, anywhere from 2.7 to 3.2V. They are also very cheap.
