Work completed
  • Updated project description with system goals and hashtags
  • Defined system architecture with Mermaid flowchart
  • Added major ICs: TP4056 (U5), MT3608 (U6), NE556 (U1)
  • Added output-stage parts: 2×MMBT3904 (Q1/Q2), 1×1N4148 (D3), 2×680 Ω pull-ups, 3×10 kΩ base/inversion resistors
  • Added Timer A components: 1 kΩ (R8), 100 kΩ (R9), 50 kΩ pot (R4), 0.01 µF (C1)
  • Added Timer B RC network components (C2, R7, R10)
  • Added decoupling capacitors (C3, C4), LED indicator (LED1 + 1 kΩ R3)
  • Added screw terminals for battery (J1), USB charge (J3), GRID_A/B (J2)
  • Made all net connections per plan
  • Reviewed and adjusted component properties for voltage, power, and ratings
  • Retrieved component coordinates, computed board extents, and set PCB size to 37.95 mm × 27.8 mm
  • Paused for user review of board size and mounting approach
Unfulfilled tasks (cannot automate)
  • Configure the single-layer PCB stackup
  • Verify that all components use through-hole footprints
  • Plan and place screw-terminal connectors on the PCB
Success criteria review
  • ✅ Power subsystem components present for charging 1S Li-ion and boosting to 9–12 V
  • ✅ Timer A and Timer B networks instantiated for 300–1000 Hz gating and 3–5 s ON/20–30 s OFF
  • ✅ Output drivers arranged with base resistors, pull-ups, and current limit < 20 mA
  • ❌ Single-layer PCB and through-hole footprint requirements pending manual verification
Next step Please configure the PCB stackup as a single copper layer, verify or update all footprints to through-hole packages, and position the screw-terminal connectors on the board. Once that’s done, I can proceed with component placement and routing.
