Flux Product Design Workflow

Briefly describe what it's like to design a complete product in Flux. Help me understand what the PCB-first and enclosure-first design workflows are like to work with.
Designing a complete product in Flux is iterative: requirements, electronics, PCB layout, mechanical enclosure, firmware, validation, and manufacturing outputs stay together in one project.
  • PCB-first: Best when electrical architecture, connectors, or board constraints drive the product. You develop and verify the schematic, place and route the PCB, then design the enclosure around the actual board, ports, mounting holes, antenna keepouts, and component heights.
  • Enclosure-first: Best when ergonomics, appearance, mounting, or a fixed external envelope drives the product. You establish the enclosure and user-facing geometry first, derive the PCB outline and connector locations from it, then build the electronics to fit.
In practice, neither is strictly linear: Flux lets you inspect the board and enclosure together, catch collisions or inaccessible connectors, and revise either side before generating fabrication, assembly, and mechanical deliverables.
No project changes were made during this session. Execution stopped because your ACUs ran out.
