Hardware Prototype Planning


The connector-placement pass previously established these intended orientations:
  • J1/JD: 270°, outward left
  • J3–J6: 90°, outward right
  • J8/J9: 180°, outward top
  • J2/J7: 0°, outward bottom
  • Both Ethernet jacks oriented consistently toward their assigned outside edge
  • All components remain top-side assembly only
Since then, the authoritative stackup was finalized as custom-4-layer:
  • Top: 0.070 mm / 2 oz
  • Mid-Layer 1: 0.035 mm / 1 oz, ground plane
  • Mid-Layer 2: 0.035 mm / 1 oz, power plane
  • Bottom: 0.070 mm / 2 oz
I cannot perform the requested live reconciliation or continue mutations because no ACUs are currently available.
Remaining work:
  • Verify connector layers, rotations, mating faces, edge clearances, and 3D seating in the live PCB.
  • Confirm JD’s correct physical part/land pattern; preserve its existing electrical pin mapping.
  • Apply custom-4-layer to the board.
  • Complete the component Layout/footprint metadata audit.
  • Verify 170 top-side and 0 bottom-side components.
  • Run placement DRC and correct overlaps/courtyard violations.
  • Apply the supplied JLCPCB rules, then proceed to routing and manufacturing export.

Passive Value and Sourcing Schedule
Closure status
The live schematic contains 43 generic resistors (R1–R27, R60–R76 as instantiated) and 65 generic capacitors (the instantiated C1–C75 subset). Every generic resistor and capacitor now has a real manufacturer part number; no placeholder or value-only MPN remains. The approved LM5155/TPS23861 selections were preserved except where missing metadata was completed.
Standardized active families
  • General 0603 1% resistors: Yageo RC0603FR or Vishay CRCW0603 value-specific production MPNs, 0.1 W.
  • PC817 12 V field inputs R60–R63: Yageo RC1206FR-071K5L, 1.5 kΩ, 1%, 0.25 W, 1206. Worst-case dissipation is approximately 78 mW at 12 V with a 1.2 V optocoupler LED drop, providing materially better margin than the former 0603 assignment.
  • Output LED/optocoupler limiters R64–R67: UNI-ROYAL 0603WAF3900T5E, 390 Ω, 1%, 0.1 W.
  • 10 kΩ pull/default network: Yageo RC0603FR-0710KL, 1%, 0.1 W. This includes new R76 TPS23861 reset holdoff.
  • Crystal loads: Murata GRM1885C1H180JA01D, 18 pF, C0G/NP0, 5%, 50 V, 0603.
  • General bypass: Murata GRM188R71H104KA93D, 100 nF, X7R, 10%, 50 V, 0603.
  • Charge-pump capacitors: Murata GRM188R71H473KA61D (47 nF) and GRM188R71H334KA61D (330 nF), X7R, 50 V, 0603.
  • 1 µF bypass: Murata GRM188R71E105KA12D, X7R, 25 V, 0603.
  • 4.7/10/22 µF ceramics: Murata GRM21B X7R family in 0805 with 25 V rating; package enlarged from 0603 where required.
  • Precision pF compensation/filter: C71 TDK 270 pF C0G/100 V and C73 KEMET 100 pF C0G/50 V retained.
  • 54 V ceramics: C66/C69 Samsung 100 nF/100 V X7R 0805 and C74/C75 TDK 4.7 µF/100 V X7S 1210 retained.
Power-stage exceptions retained
R16/R17 remain Panasonic ERJU6QFR51V 0.51 Ω, 1%, 0.25 W, 0805. R21 remains Susumu KRL6432E-M-R008-F-T1 8 mΩ, 1%, 3 W, 2512. C76 and C77 are specific non-generic Panasonic bulk capacitors and were not altered.
Availability and ordering notes
LCSC numbers were retained or added only where confidently established in the live project. Absence of an LCSC number is not an unresolved MPN: the manufacturer MPN is the ordering authority and distributor availability must be refreshed at procurement. Before purchase, confirm lifecycle/stock for each exact MPN and do not substitute dielectric, voltage rating, power rating, or package without re-running the associated electrical review.
Verification basis
A fresh full BOM query returned all 43 generic resistors and all 65 generic capacitors with populated MPN/manufacturer groups. Fresh passive, availability, component-review, and ERC results are recorded in the final closure report/chat; any remaining findings are limited to justified library metadata or layout/bench validation, not unsourced generic passives.
