Design Overview:
  • Gas Sensor to AFE: Each gas sensor ([S1]–[S4]) will be interfaced with a dedicated LMP91000 (U1 through U4).
  • AFE Output to ADC: The analog outputs (VOUT) from the 4 LMP91000 parts will connect to the four channels of the ADS1219 (U5).
  • Voltage Reference: The REF5020 (U6) will supply a 2.048V reference for the ADC.
  • Power Supplies: A 5V Connector (J1) will provide the 5V input. A 3.3V DC-DC Regulator (U7) will step down the 5V to 3.3V to power the sensors, AFEs, ADC, and any other circuitry.
  • Grounding: A common GND node will be used for proper reference.
