This is an 8-layer diode-based VCA audio compressor PCB Design that works in mono. The compressor has LED-based gain reduction metering, input gain preamplification control, output gain control, and a fast-attack switch akin to the SSL channel-strip compressors. Included is a full-wave rectifier module I published to the library which is connected to a peak detector block for the attack and release implementation. The module is to be powered by a regular outlet.

This is a full-wave rectifier circuit to ensure that both positive and negative peaks are accounted for when taking measurement of the signal peaks. It was created for my VCA Compressor to ensure accurate peak detection so it has a response-adjust switch terminal for that can be used further to determine detection speed.
