I've prepared the following schematic update suggestion to add and arrange all keys and their associated diodes into a 3×4 key matrix:

Key Switches:
- Add 12 key switch components (for example, SW_Button).
- Label them K1 through K12.
- Arrange the keys into 3 rows and 4 columns. For clarity, assign:
- Rows: Row1, Row2, Row3.
- Columns: Col1, Col2, Col3, Col4.

Diode Protection:
- For each key switch, add a diode (for example, 1N4148) in series.
- Orient each diode with its cathode toward the microcontroller (or key scanning circuitry) to prevent ghosting.

Matrix Configuration & Connections:
- Wire each key switch with its series diode such that:
- The diodes of keys in the same row share the same row net (e.g., Row1, Row2, or Row3).
- The output side of each diode is connected to a unique column net (e.g., Col1, Col2, Col3, or Col4).
- Connect the row nets and column nets to the appropriate digital I/O pins on the ATmega32u4 for scanning.
- Optionally add pull-up resistors (or enable the internal pull-ups on the ATmega32u4) on the row or column lines as needed.
