Building Micro Electronic Speed Controller

Yes – it’s best practice to include that 0.1 µF HF-bypass cap right at the LDO’s VIN pin. It helps shunt fast transients and reduces EMI on your 3–5 V rail.
Component suggestion:
  • C3: 0.1 µF, 10 V X7R, 0603 footprint, placed as close as possible between VIN and GND.
Shall I add it to your schematic now?
yes please add to schematic
Let’s start by adding the high-frequency bypass capacitor to the schematic.
Step-by-step:
  1. Open the schematic editor in Flux.
  2. Click “Add Part” (or press A) and search for 0.1 µF 10 V X7R 0603.
  3. From the results, select the 0.1 µF, 10 V, X7R, 0603 capacitor and place it on the canvas.
  4. Change its designator to C3 and value to 0.1 µF.
Once C3 is placed, let me know and we can wire it between VIN and GND in the next step.
