- Replaced J1 with Neutrik D-series NE8FAH-LR-DAE as J1, set MPN, mount orientation to front-panel, and recommended panel thickness to 1.5–2.0 mm.
- Removed the old connector footprint and added two generic non-plated mounting holes for the new connector.
- Reconnected J1 pins 1–8 to the existing Ethernet nets and to magjack J2, and tied the shield pin to GND.
- Rewired TVS protection on U1 to the appropriate differential pairs per the datasheet.
- Added 9 generic 1.25 mm SMD test points (TP10–TP18) for ETH_P1–ETH_P4, ETH_N1–ETH_N4, and shield nets.
Tasks not completed
- Silkscreen label updates for J1 pins and shield (requires manual adjustment).
- ERC/DRC checks and mechanical keepout region updates for panel cutout.
