Guitar Pedal Design Tips

For the 9 V hard-clip distortion stage, you’ll need:
  • A dual op-amp for the overdrive gain stage—commonly a TL072, e.g.:
    TL072
  • A 100 nF decoupling cap on the 9 V rail, placed close to the op-amp’s VCC pin:
    100 nF Capacitor
  • 1 µF input and output coupling capacitors to block DC:
    1 µF Capacitor
  • A pair of diodes for the hard clipping—typically fast 1N4148s:
    1N4148
Does using a TL072 for the gain stage sound good? If so, I can add it along with the decoupling, coupling caps, and clipping diodes for you.
It looks like the PDF is image-based, so I can’t extract the parts list or netlist directly. Could you please share the component values and schematic connections from the guide (e.g. resistor values, capacitor sizes, IC pin wiring)? Once I have those details, I can recreate the hard-clip distortion schematic here in Flux.
Provide component values
Provide net connections
Request part footprints
Add resistors to library
Add coupling/decoupling caps

To get started, talk to Flux or create a New Document.
