Raspberry Pi Pico 2 Design Guide

I’m blocked from making project edits because execution credits are unavailable, so I could not add or wire components in the schematic.
Planned minimal design:
  • Raspberry Pi Pico 2 shield/header footprint as the main interface
  • One I2C humidity sensor as the primary peripheral
  • I2C pull-up resistors to 3.3 V
  • Local decoupling capacitor at the humidity sensor supply
  • Simple 3.3 V power distribution from the Pico 2 shield header
  • No extra regulator unless the shield must accept an external supply independent of the Pico
  • Clean power/ground nets and minimal connector/support circuitry
What remains to be done when execution is available:
  1. Rename the draft project and add a concise project description.
  2. Select a specific humidity sensor with an available datasheet and Flux library footprint.
  3. Add the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 shield headers/footprint.
  4. Add the humidity sensor, I2C pull-ups, and decoupling capacitor.
  5. Wire SDA/SCL, 3V3, and GND according to the sensor datasheet.
  6. Run schematic review/ERC and fix any violations.
  7. After schematic approval, proceed to PCB placement and layout.
