Dual Ideal Diode Selection


I am using a SMPS of 12v (Constant voltage) as one of the power source for Dual Ideal diode OR-ing, what component shall i pick from Library
For dual-input ideal diode OR-ing at 12 V, pick one of these library parts (ordered by robustness and simplicity):
  • LTC4359HDCB#TRPBF – Ideal diode controller for N‑MOSFETs, 4–80 V. Very low loss with external FETs; great for 12 V rails.
  • LM5050-1 – TI ideal diode controller for N‑MOSFET OR-ing, 5–75 V, proven for 12 V.
  • TPS2121RUXR – 2‑input power mux (2.8–22 V) with ideal‑diode behavior, prioritization and current limiting; simplest integration.
  • LTC4412ES6#TRMPBF – P‑MOSFET ideal diode controller (2.5–28 V); simpler but higher RDS(on) with P‑FETs.
External MOSFET suggestions to pair with controllers:
  • N‑FET: CSD17575Q3T – 30 V, very low RDS(on) for low loss.
  • P‑FET (if using LTC4412): AO3401A – 30 V, SOT‑23 P‑channel.
Recommendations:
  • Need minimal design effort and built‑in current limit/prioritization: use TPS2121RUXR.
  • Need highest current/lowest drop: use LTC4359HDCB#TRPBF or LM5050-1 with suitable N‑FET(s).
