  • Updated project description to clearly state goals with relevant hashtags (#ESP32 #DHT22 #Relay #3V3Regulator #PowerProtection).
  • Added System Architecture property with Mermaid diagram illustrating the ESP32-WROOM-32, 3.3 V regulator, DHT22 sensor, relay module, power rails, connectors, and programming header.
  • Placed major ICs:
    • ESP32-WROOM-32 module (U1)
    • 3.3 V LDO regulator (U2)
Remaining Tasks
  • Add the loose DHT22 sensor symbol and label its data pin.
  • Add the 5 V opto-isolated relay module footprint.
  • Insert power connectors (+/– screw terminals and 5 V input connector).
  • Place decoupling and bulk capacitors at regulator input/output.
  • Add pull-up resistor (4.7–10 kΩ) on DHT22 data line and optional input protection (diode, TVS, fuse).
  • Add programming/UART header for the ESP32.
  • Connect nets: 5 V rail to regulator and relay, 3.3 V rail to ESP32 and sensor, common ground, GPIO14→DHT22 (with pull-up), GPIO15→relay input.

  • ESP32-WROOM-32 and 3.3 V regulator added: ✅
  • Other criteria (DHT22 pull-up, relay interconnect, decoupling, connectors, header) not yet implemented: ❌
Next Step Let’s add the loose DHT22 sensor symbol and the 5 V opto-isolated relay module to the schematic.
