BME280 Guide

I’ll research Bosch’s BME280 datasheet and primary sources, then create a cited application guide covering wiring, layout, alternatives, and purchasing.
I verified Bosch’s recommended I²C circuit: two 100 nF decoupling capacitors and normally 4.7 kΩ bus pull-ups. I’m finishing the guide with a 5 V warning, thermal-placement guidance, and two other-manufacturer alternatives clearly labeled as requiring redesign.

BME280 Application and Usage Guide
The Bosch Sensortec BME280 is a digital relative-humidity, barometric-pressure, and temperature sensor with I²C and three-/four-wire SPI interfaces in a miniature metal-lid LGA package. It is commonly integrated into battery-powered environmental monitors, weather stations, and indoor-climate nodes; its temperature output also supplies compensation for the pressure and humidity measurements.
Scope: bare BME280 IC, not a breakout board with its own regulator or level shifters. Manufacturer specifications are cited; implementation recommendations are identified as engineering guidance. Research chec...
Created the BME280 Application and Usage Guide in project files, with all seven requested sections, cited specifications, practical wiring and layout guidance, and purchasing details.
No cross-manufacturer drop-in replacement was verified; both alternatives are clearly labeled as requiring redesign, and unverified sourcing details are identified.
