I can hook up the on-board Schmitt‐trigger inverters (U12) to the MOSFETs to form your two wasted-spark coil drivers, tie their sources to ground, and then bring those drains out to a connector. Then we’ll move that whole “ignition block” to the left side, clear of the CM4.
To proceed we need to decide on:
Power & coil connector
– Do you want to reuse J1 (2-pin JST) for Coil1/Coil2 outputs and ground, or add a new multi-pin header (e.g. a 3-pin: +12 V, Coil1, Coil2)?
Gate resistor values
– Typically a small series resistor (e.g. 100 Ω) is placed between each inverter output and MOSFET gate. Shall I add these?
Once you let me know the connector choice (and gate resistor preference), I’ll:
Net “IGN1_GATE”: [U12:1Y] → (R?Ω) → [Q2: G]
Net “IGN2_GATE”: [U12:2Y] → (R?Ω) → [Q5: G]
Tie [Q2: S] & [Q5: S] to GND
Net “IGN1_OUT”: [Q2: D] → Connector pin
Net “IGN2_OUT”: [Q5: D] → Connector pin
Route +12 V into connector pin (if new header)
Group and place them on the left side with a ground pour if desired
Let me know your connector and resistor-value choices and I’ll apply those changes.
