  • System architecture diagram defined and saved in the “System Architecture” property
  • Major ICs added:
    • U1 IRL81A MOSFET
    • U2 ADR4525ARZ precision reference
    • U3 OPA188AIDBVR low-noise op-amp
    • Q1 BSS138-G MOSFET
Tasks remaining
  • Pick and add other active components (NTC temperature sensor, TVS diodes, interlock switch)
  • Review power subsystem for additional active parts
  • Add supporting passives:
    • Decoupling capacitors
    • Sense resistor
    • Pull-up/pull-down resistors
    • ESD protection diodes
    • RC network for soft-start/current limit
    • NTC for temperature compensation
  • Add connectors for VIN, GND, MOD, EN
  • Connect all nets and review schematic
  • Prepare and configure PCB layout (stackup, footprints, placement, routing)
  • Perform ERC/DRC and manufacturability reviews
  • Define calibration procedures for 1 mW at 25 °C and over temperature
Success criteria status
  • Low-noise constant-current driver with analog modulation, hard interlock, soft-start: not yet implemented
  • PCB layout ensuring noise minimization, thermal compensation, robust ESD: pending
  • Calibration procedure defined: pending
