I will build a single-sided, laser-etch-friendly PCB that exactly follows Cipher’s GitHub wiring and components. Steps:

Pull BOM, pin map, and footprints from the GitHub reference.
Add ESP32 DevKit 30‑pin, 3x NRF24L01 module, 0.96" OLED, and 5x Tactile Push Button; wire exactly per repo.
Configure single-sided rules, add ground pour and 0 Ω jumpers; place and route.
Run DRC and export ready-to-etch Gerbers (etch-around-traces).

The design must adhere strictly to the provided wiring, have a single copper layer with laser etch-friendly trace rules, and generate ready-to-etch Gerber files with etch-around traces.

Review and Reference
1. Retrieve and review Cipher’s GitHub repository for the ESP32 DevKit wiring, exact Bill of Materials, pin mappings, and component footprints.
2. Verify the components: ESP32 DevKit (30‑pin), 3x NRF24L01 modules (with associated headers, e.g. 2×4 for 2.54 mm headers), the 0.96" OLED (configured for I2C/SPI as per repo), and 5 tactile push buttons including required pull-ups.
Component Selection and Schematic Setup
1. Select and add the specified components from the Flux parts library or add generic parts with the same specifications as per Cipher’s repo.
2. Configure the schematic to mirror the exact wiring from the repository, including setting correct GPIO assignments and connecting the push buttons and display as specified.
3. Add necessary 0Ω jumpers or wires to maintain single-layer connectivity as needed.
PCB Layout Configuration
1. Set the PCB to a single-sided (single copper layer) design optimized for laser etching, ensuring trace widths and spacing are compliant with laser etch standards.
2. Add a ground pour and etch-around traces to meet laser etching requirements while allowing proper isolation of components.
3. Place components logically to mirror the repo wiring and simplify routing.
Routing and DRC
1. Route all nets following the exact wiring from the repository.
2. Perform a Design Rule Check (DRC) to ensure all traces and clearances meet laser-etch-friendly and single-sided layout guidelines.
Generate and Export Gerber Files
1. Configure the Gerber export settings to produce files suitable for laser etching, particularly ensuring etch-around trace export.
2. Verify Gerber files for production readiness.

#Success criteria

The PCB schematic accurately mirrors the wiring and component connections from Cipher’s GitHub repository.
All components (ESP32 DevKit, three NRF24L01 modules, 0.96" OLED, and five push buttons) are correctly added and connected.
The layout adheres to single-sided, laser-etch-friendly design rules with a properly configured ground pour and trace etching.
Ready-to-etch Gerber files are generated with correct etch-around trace settings.
