Understanding J1 Connector

Please explain what J1 does.
J1 is the project's USB micro connector. It serves as the physical interface for USB connectivity, meaning it:
  • Provides a connection point for USB cables: Allowing data communication and power delivery between your circuit and external devices (e.g., computers or peripherals).
  • Handles the standard USB signals: Such as the power supply (VBUS), ground (GND), and data lines (D+ and D-).
  • Ensures adherence to USB specifications: By connecting the system to the universally accepted USB protocol, which covers cable design, signal integrity, and power requirements.
In essence, J1 enables your circuit to interface with other USB-enabled devices for both communication and power purposes.
