Temperature and Humidity Sensor Node Design

Make me a temperature and humidity sensor node with Wifi and Bluetooth, powered by USB-C (5V) for consumer use.
It should be a low-power environmental node with a digital T/RH sensor, ultra-low-power MCU with Wi-Fi + Bluetooth (dual-radio) — 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n plus BLE 5.x powered by USB-C (5 V) — USB-C receptacle 5 V default; include reverse/OVP/UVLO/OCP protection and plan for 0.5–3 A sources.
I’m blocked from executing design changes right now because AI features are unavailable due to no available ACUs. No schematic, components, wiring, PCB layout, or project documents have been created yet; the project is still empty.
What remains to do:
  • Select the Wi‑Fi/BLE MCU/module, digital temperature/RH sensor, USB‑C receptacle, 5 V input protection, and 3.3 V regulator.
  • Build the schematic with USB‑C default 5 V sink CC resistors, reverse/OVP/UVLO/OCP protection, regulator, MCU, sensor, decoupling, programming/debug, reset/boot, and test points.
  • Create consumer-use documentation: power budget, bring-up plan, firmware starter notes, and regulatory/compliance notes for Wi‑Fi/BLE.
  • Verify ERC/design review, then proceed to PCB placement/routing with RF antenna keepout and USB-C/protection layout constraints.
A strong default architecture would be: USB‑C 5 V input → protection/eFuse/load switch with OVP/UVLO/OCP → high-efficiency 3.3 V buck or low-Iq regulator → ESP32‑C6 or ESP32‑C3 module → Sensirion SHT4x/SHTC3-class I²C T/RH sensor.
