Temperature and Humidity Sensor Node Design

I’m blocked because execution credits are exhausted, so I can’t modify the Flux project or add schematic/layout objects right now.
Current project state:
  • No components added
  • No nets added
  • No schematic work performed yet
  • Project is still the empty draft project
Recommended design plan when execution is available:
  1. Rename/project-spec the design as a USB-C Wi-Fi/BLE environmental sensor node.
  2. Select an ultra-low-power Wi-Fi + BLE MCU/module, likely an ESP32-C6 or ESP32-S3-class module depending on power/peripheral needs.
  3. Add a digital temperature/humidity sensor over I²C, e.g. Sensirion SHT4x/SHTC3-class.
  4. Add USB-C 5 V input with:
    • USB-C receptacle
    • CC pull-downs for default 5 V sink behavior
    • ESD protection
    • reverse-current/reverse-polarity protection
    • OVP/UVLO/OCP/load-switch or eFuse stage sized for 0.5–3 A sources
  5. Add regulated rails, likely 3.3 V for MCU and sensor, with datasheet-required input/output capacitors.
  6. Add decoupling, boot/enable strapping, programming/debug access, reset, and any required antenna keepout.
  7. Run ERC/review until clean.
  8. Only after schematic validation, proceed to PCB placement and routing with RF antenna constraints.
Nothing has been changed in the project yet.
