A Blinking LED

Connectivity checks passed; I found only schematic readability warnings, so I’m cleaning those up now without changing the circuit.
Built the 9V LED Blinker schematic: a through-hole NE555 astable blinker powered by a 9V battery through an SPST on/off switch, driving a red LED at about 1.05 Hz with ~5.8 mA LED current. I also cleaned up the schematic geometry and verified there are no open ERC/DRC warnings or errors in the checked categories.
Open items:
  • PCB layout has not been created yet.
  • Battery life will be modest with a bipolar NE555; a CMOS 555 would improve runtime if that matters.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Create the PCB layout with through-hole footprints.
  2. Add mounting holes and set a board size.
  3. Route the PCB and run final DRC.
  4. Generate Gerbers/BOM for fabrication.
