ESP32-S3 Board Design


The board is now 12 × 80 mm and the route has progressed from 83 to 17 airwires. I’m keeping the layout worker focused on closing those final GPIO/USB connections and then validating edge clearance and copper integrity.
Resized and reworked the PCB into a 12 × 80 mm, four-layer narrow layout, placed all 44 components across both sides, added copper planes, and reduced routing from 83 to 17 airwires at the last verified checkpoint.
Open items
  • Verify the executor’s final routing result and current DRC counts.
  • Close any remaining GPIO/USB airwires and copper/edge-clearance errors.
  • Independently review USB, RF, crystal, regulator, and ground-return routing.
  • Create bring-up, firmware, and compliance project files.

The PCB layout executor has finished, but I can’t inspect or reconcile its final report because the account currently has no available ACUs.
Current last-verified state: 12 × 80 mm, four-layer board, all 44 components placed, copper planes added, and routing reduced from 83 to 17 airwires. Remaining work is to verify the executor’s final airwire/DRC counts, inspect USB/RF/crystal/power routing, fix any residual violations, and generate bring-up/firmware/compliance documentation.
