Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Sensor Node Design

I’m blocked because execution credits are unavailable, so I can’t inspect or modify the project right now.
Current project state:
  • No components added.
  • No nets or schematic wiring created.
  • Project is still an empty draft: “Stable Green Transporter.”
Requested design to implement once execution is available:
  • USB-C 5 V powered environmental sensor node.
  • Wi-Fi + Bluetooth/BLE 5.x MCU/module, 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n + BLE.
  • Digital temperature/humidity sensor.
  • Low-power architecture suitable for a consumer node.
  • USB-C default 5 V sink behavior.
  • Input power protection for 0.5–3 A sources:
    • Reverse protection
    • Over-voltage protection
    • Under-voltage lockout
    • Over-current protection
  • Proper regulators, decoupling, antenna keepout, programming/debug access, and clean schematic review.
Next steps when credits are available:
  1. Rename and document the project.
  2. Build the power budget before selecting USB-C/protection/regulator parts.
  3. Select an appropriate Wi-Fi/BLE MCU module, likely an ESP32-C3/ESP32-C6/S3-class module depending on power/peripheral needs.
  4. Add USB-C receptacle, CC resistors, protection, 5 V power path, and 3.3 V regulation.
  5. Add T/RH sensor over I²C.
  6. Add programming/debug connector, status LED if desired, and required passives.
  7. Verify against datasheets and run schematic review.
  8. Create bring-up, firmware, and regulatory planning documents before moving to layout.
