Powering Audio System from Battery

I’ve completed the schematic cleanup and net rework.
Work done
  • Removed all redundant ground symbols and net portals; deleted C2.
  • Tied returns to B-: J10, J12, C9 (P2), C10 (P2), C11 (P2), C12 (P2), C14 (P2); severed residual GND net.
  • Fixed audio input:
    • Connected J13 (P3) → C13 (P1)
    • Connected C13 (P2) → R1
    • Connected R1 (P2) → J4 (P3)
    • Shunted C14 (P1) to B-.
  • Verified and labeled power nets:
    • 5V_IN on J13 (P1), C9 (P1), C10 (P1)
    • 9V_IN on J4 (P1), C11 (P1), C12 (P1)
    • Isolated B+/B- and CHG+/CHG-; assigned labels B+, B-, CHG+, CHG-, 5V_IN, 9V_IN.
  • Severed unintended connections: J9 (P1) from B+, J8 (P1) from B-.
Couldn’t perform
  • Running full ERC and DRC checks and auto-fixing flagged issues in this environment.
Success criteria
  • ✅ No residual GND symbols or net portals.
  • ✅ B- is the single star ground.
  • ✅ Audio network implemented correctly.
  • ✅ Power nets verified and labeled.
  • ⚠️ ERC/DRC pending.
Next step: would you like me to prepare the PCB layout or run the ERC/DRC review manually in Flux?
