Power Budget and Protection Sizing 3.3 V rail estimate
  • AD5933: budget 20 mA peak (conservative allowance above normal operating draw).
  • AP2112 quiescent current: 6× margin over the 30 mA design allowance. J1 and SS14 current ratings are comfortably above this load. The AP2112K-3.3 is rated far above the expected rail current.
LDO thermal estimate
At 5 V input and 30 mA: P ≈ (5 − 3.3) × 0.03 = 0.051 W, comfortably suitable for SOT-23-5 with normal copper.

Implemented the complete AD5933 Impedance Measurement Board schematic with protected 5 V input, 3.3 V regulation, I²C interface, DUT connections, selectable 10 kΩ/100 kΩ/1 MΩ feedback ranges, decoupling, indicators, and test points. Project metadata, block diagram, and power-budget documentation were also updated.
Open items
  • ERC reports one known library-symbol false positive: AD5933 VIN is classified as a power input, although it is correctly connected as the analog receive input on VIN_SENSE.
  • JP1–JP3 replace the unavailable three-way range jumper; exactly one jumper must be closed.
  • Final polished schematic arrangement and calibration/range validation remain.
  • Further execution stopped because no ACUs are currently available.
Suggested next steps
  1. Visually arrange the schematic into clean power, digital, and analog blocks.
  2. Validate each impedance range using precision calibration resistors.
  3. Proceed to PCB placement with strict separation of the analog path from I²C and regulator noise.
