Below is a wiring summary that details how to connect each passive (decoupling and filtering) capacitor to its corresponding power pin on each IC as specified. You should perform these connections in your schematic, ensuring that each capacitor connects from the IC pin to the common ground net.

Wiring Summary

TPS62160DGK Buck Converter (U3)*VIN4.7μFConnect one 4.7μF capacitor from VIN pin to GND
TPS62160DGK Buck Converter (U3)*VOUT22μF + 0.1μFConnect one 22μF and one 0.1μF (in parallel) from VOUT pin to GND
MCP1700-3302E/TO (U4)VIN1μFConnect one 1μF capacitor from VIN pin to GND
MCP1700-3302E/TO (U4)VOUT1μF (+ optional 10μF)Connect one 1μF capacitor (and optionally a 10μF capacitor in parallel) from VOUT pin to GND
* Note: The boost and buck converter part numbers in the wiring table refer to the representative functions. In your project, U2 is the Boost Converter and U3 is the Buck Converter already placed. Use the respective component references as available on your schematic.

Detailed Wiring Instructions
  1. For [BQ24075] (U1):
    • VBUS:
      • Place the 4.7μF Capacitor close to the VBUS pin and draw a wire from the capacitor’s one terminal to the VBUS pin and the other terminal to the ground net.
    • SYS:
    • BAT:
  2. For the Boost Converter (U2):
    • VIN:
      • Place a 4.7μF Capacitor so that one end is connected to the VIN pin and the other to ground.
    • VOUT:
      • Place a 22μF Capacitor and a 0.1μF Capacitor in parallel. Ensure both capacitors have one terminal connected to the VOUT pin and the other terminals tied to the same ground net.
  3. For the Buck Converter (U3):
  4. For [MCP1700-3302E/TO] (U4):
    • VIN:
    • VOUT:
      • Place a 1μF Capacitor from the VOUT pin to ground. Optionally, add a 10μF Capacitor in parallel by connecting both upper terminals to VOUT and both lower terminals to ground.

How to Wire in Flux
  1. Select the capacitor symbol for each capacitor component already added to your project.
  2. Place the capacitor next to the corresponding IC pin (referencing the table above).
  3. Draw a net wire from the capacitor terminal to the appropriate power pin on the IC.
  4. Connect the other capacitor terminal to the ground net.
  5. Ensure that parallel capacitors share the same net connection.
By following these steps, you ensure that every power pin on the ICs is properly decoupled and filtered per the design recommendations.
